As an example, there are laws stating that it is required to purchase car hire insurance when you rent a car, but you are not required to avail of the insurance only from the company that will lend you the car. If an accident happens, this protects the car rental company from incurring big losses on repairing car damages, and it also protects the renter from shoulder the expenses for repairs. Some associations are also formed in order to ensure fair-pricing.
