Initially the new driver is not too interested in car maintenance. Instead it is much more fun just to think about their new-found independence, being able to drive around to your mate’s house and get out of the way of your folks. But, as with all things, there are many advantages to understanding some of the fundamental workings of a car. Even some very basic knowledge can help you to look after the vehicle better, preserving its life, increasing its efficiency and also, most importantly, making it safer.
Every three or four weeks you should do some basic maintenance checks stop top of this list is making sure your engine has enough about oil.
