Cruising Las Vegas in a Classic Lamborghini

One of the must-drive classic GTs, by far, is the Lamborghini 400 GT. It is one the first few car models ever released by the renowned Italian truck manufacturer, Lamborghini. First introduced at the 1966 Geneva Auto Show, it was one of the first series of coupes produced by the company to rival the Ferraris and Maseratis. Only a few of this model was ever produced, which makes it one of the most sought-after exotic cars all over the world. With its sleek and elegant vintage look, excellent driving and road handling, and ultra-high performance, the Lamborghini 400 GT would sure be an exhilarating ride from Las Vegas to anywhere in the United States.

Compared to its predecessor, the 350 GT, 400 GT was built with a longer wheelbase, durable steel coachwork, with a modified look evident in its longer hood to accommodate the engine, a scaled back rear window, four circular headlights, and a slightly higher roof to provide more interior room.

Equipped with a 3929 cc 4.0 L engine it kicks off 320 bph at 6500 rpm with 276 lb-ft of torque at 4500rpm, making it one of the most desirable sports car of its time. The coupe had enough power to generate to almost 160 mph. Only twenty-three units of this coupe were produced from 1966 until 1967. Twenty units were steel bodied while three were bodied in Superleggera.

Another version of the 400 GT was also released. This two-door coupe was modified to not only accommodate two, but four passengers. It was dubbed as the 400 GT 2+2. However, there were very minor difference between the 400 GT and the 400 GT 2+2 engine-wise as well as in the overall structure. Two hundred twenty four units were produced during 1966 to 1968, including five right-hand drive units.

The production of these GTs were limited due to the fact that it was hand-built in the factory at Sant’Agata, Italy . Now, having one would surely be impressive. But if you are having difficulties finding one to purchase, then why don’t you rent one? There are practically car rentals anywhere in the world. Surely there’s bound to be several Lamborghini GTs available for you to drive. Now, just imagine cruising around Las Vegas or perhaps Paris in a classic Lamborghini GT. It would definitely make your visit to these popular places a remarkable one.

Moreover, with the growing car rental industry, it is now possible for almost anyone to drive their dream cars, albeit how short-lived, as well as make certain occasions in their lives extra special. Also, this industry makes it more convenient for people to travel from one place to another, in their own pace while on a vacation or on a business trip in a foreign land.

Porsche Design,especially Designed for You!

Although the brand of Porsche Design originates from Porsche family, father of Porsche sports car, it dose not has a close and clear relationship with Porsche cars.

In 1973,F.A Porsche brought a new era to the watch field with a black time stopwatch, and then he made successive  innovations in titanium metal and watches’exterior design.

Even the year of 1973 found Porsche’s production of the first compass wristwatch with  the help of IWC. And during the 20 years of later cooperation, Porsche established a prestigious brand image with the help of that of IWC’s, while IWC exploited its sportswatch market, through which they both set solid foundation for their glorious accomplishment.

In 1995, F.A.Porsche took over Eterna watch factory and began to run it by himself.

Ernst F.Seyr’s aim was to produce a machine time stopwatch for user to easily read the time.He first invited Paul Gerber as the technical consultant, who once invented bell time stopwatch for Fortis, and who at that time was  a member of Horological Academy of Independant Creators(AHCI),then he particularly extended his factory and recruitied more workers.

At the end of 2001, Eterna officially took over the latter blueprint’s design and modification, and began a programme to produce his archetypal watch, which got 12 experienced watchmaking masters, designers and CNC engineers involved. The breathtaking Indicator did not come out before 2004.

In the year of 2003,Porsche Company became a major shareholder of Porsche Design Company, and a new Group—-PLH was set in Bitgenma Sea???Becingen.

By October, the new group has already integrated Porsche’s business in luxury accessories and patents, and the promotion on all brands except for auto manufacture.

Porsche Design belongs in PLH, whose major management is in the 12-staff Porsche Design Office  on the lake bank ,Zell and the Selection area, and it covers Porsche Company accessory ,costume, and sports device(like Porsche bicycle).

65% of the stocks belongs to Porsche Company, the other 35% to Porsche family, which shows us the tendency that Porsche Design will return to Porsche.

The Porsche Experience

Porsche is a premier brand which has been manufacturing cars since 1931. It is one of the world leaders in the field of luxury and racing cars. It’s a company based in Germany and is known worldwide for its quality products.

History

The founder of the Porsche car company (or ‘Dr. ing. h. c. F. Porsche GmbH’, to give its proper name) was Professor Ferdinand Porsche. He was an Austro-Hungarian engineer born at Maffersdorf. He became Technical Director at Austro-Daimler in Wiener Neustadt in 1906. At the age of only 31, he was responsible for the model range of one of Europe’s largest automotive concerns. He was the person responsible for the designing of the rear engine concept used in the Volkswagen Beetle, a revolution in the field of automotives. In 1931 Porsche set up a facility to manufacture racing cars that would one day bear his name. The designs used for the Beetle became the prototype for the first Porsche cars and the first Porsche (the Porsche 64) was developed in 1939.

World War II put a spanner in the works of the company but business picked up after the war. The Porsche and the Beetle have an intertwined history as they have developed and moved forward together. In fact, after the war, when components were in short supply, Porsche used components from the Volkswagen Beetle including its engine, gearbox, and suspension. Moving together but diverging later, Beetle became the people’s car while Porsche moved into the realm of luxury cars.

Racing

The Porsche logo has been one of the premier and most recognisable symbols on race tracks around the world. Cars from the Porsche stables have won an astounding number of races (more than 28,000) in various competitions. In 2006 and 2007 Porsche built more than 450 different race cars for various international motor sports events.

Pushing the Limits With Lamborghini Tuning

Lamborghinis are well known as being exceptional cars, they signify prestige and power and usually you’ll need a six figure income to afford one.  Assuming you have then there’s a good chance you’ll be enjoying the speed and luxury of such a great car.

The thing is that for many petrol heads who own a car they will want to push that car to its limits and get the absolute most out of the car and its engine.  By modifying or tuning any car you’ll be able to customise the ride of that car.

Whether it’s increasing the speed, acceleration, braking or handling then there is bound to be a part or a tweak for you to alter in order to achieve your desired effect.  Just because Lamborghinis are among the fastest cars in the world, especially the latest powerhouse featured in this year’s summer blockbuster The Dark Knight, the Murcielago LP640, this doesn’t mean that you can’t get any better than the factory settings.

There are plenty of power inducing Performance Parts for Lamborghini that can help generate 5 to 10% more power in your Lamborghini and whilst it may seem small to most people but if you want to be the cream of the cream of the crop then you’ll look to making your sports car better than the next person’s.

Various Lamborghini Tuning parts include uprating your turbo unit to reduce lag and increase peak power, other ways including making the inside of your engine icy cold whether you are heating and cooling the engine block or engaging in a bit of forced induction to keep everything nice and cool whilst being able to reach super speeds.

Other ways in which you can make a more noticeable alteration to your Lamborghini is visual alterations; many customisation groups can provide a more racing car styled body kit to complement the raging bull engine within.

There are many Lamborghini pictures of these kits as well as other styling mods like new alloy wheels, there are a plethora of different styles and sizes, Lamborghinis look stunning with larger sized alloy wheels and even coloured wheels can help make your Lamborghini stand out even more.
