Familiar Great Fast New Cars to Check Out

Speed is something that many sports car lovers want to experience. To help you get that awesome feeling of flying there are a number of great fast new cars to check out. We are for the most part very familiar with these types of fast moving cars. The Saleen S7 Twain Turbo is said to be a fantastically fast car.

The aerodynamics of fast new cars like this will let you zip along even upside down. The 750 horsepower engine will make sure that the speed of this car keeps you glued to the seat of the car even when the car is not touching the ground. For those of you who like to experience this feeling of ultra speed.

This car was dubbed as being one of the fastest new cars to hit the streets when it was released in 1995. For ten great years the McLaren F1 held that title. The maximum speed this fast new car could achieve was 240mph. even though the McLaren F1 is considered as being one of the fast new cars there are many items about this car that can make it an exotic car as well.

The F1 McLaren was made from costly carbon fiber. The engine compartment lid was a gold covering as this was considered as being a good heat deflecting material. As this car is made from carbon fibers it is very light causing this car to be able to travel at very high speeds. There is one other feature about the McLaren F1 that makes it unlike the other fast new cars.

This is the placing of the driver’s seat. In many of the other cars you will find the driver’s seat is placed at the right or left side front seats. The V12 McLaren F1 has the driver sitting in the very middle of the front section. In short where the usual front seats are the drivers seat is the only seat. Behind this seat there are two jump seats. These are located on ether side of the driver’s seat.

The Ferrari F430 is yet another of the many fast new cars that can be found. This car has an aluminum structured body. This light weight substance allows the driver to push the car to the ultimate fast speeds. For this car it takes about 4 seconds to reach about 60 mph. the maximum speed that this car can reach is that of 190pmh.

There are cars and then there are fast new cars. These really fast cars are designed to reach the high speeds of 190mph quite quickly. These are fantastic cars not only to look at but also to drive. For lovers of speed these are the ideal cars to buy.

Approved Used Cars

What are they?

Approved cars are those which have been previously owned and are returned to or sold to the original dealer before being checked or repaired by the same dealer. Once approved they are then put up for sale in the dealer’s showroom to be brought again.

Dealers which also have a website will alert via email or newsletter anyone who has shown an interest in the car’s particular make and model, before being added to the list of approved cars on their website’s pages. This it makes it far easier for you to buy a specific model with many of the assurances of buying new-without the cost.

The advantages of buying an approved car:

Buying a previously owned approved car from the manufactures provides complete peace of mind that you are buying a car which has been checked to ensure that it is in good condition and full working order. Most approved previously owned cars are nearly new and well maintained. Approved car dealerships will also carry out a full history check on the car.

Approved cars often come with a warranty either as a continuation of the manufacture’s original warranty-if this is applicable-which is passed onto the new owner or the dealership will provide their own warranty on the car.

All cars will have to qualify before they are approved, they are subject to undergo an inspection. Any identified faults will be repaired before the car can be sold as approved. This makes your purchase a much safer one. The inspection will also include a full history check. The pre-inspection typically includes checks being carried out on the following:
Any part of the car which has fluids are checked. This includes brake, clutch, steering and coolant fluids as well as front and rear screen washers.

All electronics are inspected-anything which runs off the battery will be checked to ensure they are in full working order.

All safety aspects such as seat belts, air bags, hand brake and central locking will also be inspected.

Technical tests such as opening and closing of doors and windows, temperature gauges and sunroofs are also checked before the car can be approved.

Tyres are checked to see whether they have sufficient depth of tread and no signs of spot wearing.

Road tests are carried out to ensure the car handles correctly and that everything is in good working order.

As you can see to become an approved car many detailed checks are carried out by the dealership. Those that pass this rigorous testing and inspection will then be accepted as an approved used car. Making these the safest option of used car to buy.

Car dealership which are approved by the manufactures will also have the capability of offering finance in a variety of different ways. Those offering 0% finance are well worth investigating as you could potentially save a vast amount of money. Applications for finance are always subject to terms and conditions.

Many dealerships who are approved to sell used cars will consider part exchange options on the used cars they are selling.

Bmw Bags 7 Awards for 4 Engines, International Engine of the Year

BMW, maker of quality BMW accessory parts, bagged 7 awards for its 4 engines, namely: BMW 3.0 liter Twin Turbo in-line six cylinder petrol engines, BMW M 5.0 liter V10 petrol engine, BMW 2.5 liter in-line six cylinder petrol engines, and the MINI 1.6 liter Turbo petrol engine. With these, BMW, for the third time in a row, won the 2007 International Engine of the Year.

The award is considered the most important engine competition in the world. The jury consisted of 62 high-ranking international automobile journalists from 30 countries.

The BMW 3.0 liter Twin Turbo petrol engine is now fitted in all body variations of the successful BMW 3 Series. The 6-cylinder engine with Twin Turbo technology won the “Best New Engine of the Year 2007” for the 2.5 liter and 3.0 liter capacity classes, respectively.

As an addition to the 6-cylinder engine with Twin Turbo technology’s extreme pulling power, the awards jury was also impressed by the high efficiency of the 225 kW power unit. In the BMW 335i Coupe, with 9.5 liters per 100 kilometers, the average level of consumed fuel based on the EU norm is intensely moderate for this performance class. And this is basically because of BMW High Precision Injection. It is the world’s first jet-guided direct injection system ever to be produced in high-volume production. This, in effect, allows a specific and accurate metering of the mixture of air-fuel.

The V10 high-performance engine, which is to be found in BMW M5 and M6, won 2 awards. Like in the past 2 years, the said engine with a 507bhp power package and a capacity of 5 liters bagged the “Best Performance Engine of the Year” award. It also won in the engine class that has over 4.0 liters capacity. The said engine had already won the “International Engine of the Year” award in 2005 and 2006.

The 2.5 liter 6-cylinder petrol engine with VALVETRONIC won the 2.0 – 2.5 liter award. The engine is being used in the BMW Z4 Roadster 2.5si and X3 2.5si. It was first used in 2001. Since then, it was established in millions of automobiles. The engine its fully variable valve control yields 160 kW and one can really say it has the BMW philosophy of efficient dynamics.

According to Rogelio Rivera-Nava, a jury member from Mexico, the exquisite sound of the 2.5-litre engine can be heard from a distance. He further stated the construction of the in-line 6-cylinder gives the basis for the technical purity of this most famous BMW engines.

The BMW Group and PSA Peugeot Citroën jointly received the award for the 1.6 liter turbo engine under the 1.4-1.8 liter category. The engine is being used in the MINI Cooper S.

For the last 9 years, BMW has been a recipient of over 30 of the highly sought-after “International Engine of the Year” awards. This makes the Bavarian auto manufacturer a leader in the field of engine construction and innovation.

Selling Your Used Car As A Private Party

Tired of your old car and want to move on to a new one? Or maybe you just don\’t have any use for the car anymore while it\’s still racking up expenses? Why not sell it to someone who wants it and will take good care of it. You\’ll get some profit in return, and you won\’t have to be burdened with a car that will be more useful to others.

The first step to selling your used car would be to prepare the car for the sale. Make sure that it is in a useful condition. What use is there for the buyer if the car doesn\’t even work? You\’ll never get buyers if the car is in such a deteriorated state. So it\’s best to make your car presentable and competent. Take good pictures of your car, and make a list of its features that you think would appeal to potential buyers.

The next course to take would be to get the word out that you\’re selling your car. You can do it by making an ad in the newspapers or magazines, or you can use the Web and advertise through an Internet auction. If you\’re not sure on how to make an ad, browse through automotive magazines and issues and take a look at how the other sellers do it. Make sure that in your ad, you write down the car\’s features and condition as honestly as you can.

If your car is one of the new models in the automobile industry, you might be able to attract a lot of buyers. It would be best to make some improvements to your car, at least on its appearance. Make it obvious that it is a new model. If you\’re selling an old car, though, it might take more work to improve the car\’s appearance. You will also have to make sure the car still functions as good as new. There may be instances where you will have to change some things to the car to make it more attractive to buyers (exterior paint finish, carpeting and upholstery, new tires, etc.). Be careful with the electrical and electronic parts of the car when cleaning it. Check the engine, too, and make sure you have it fully charged and the oil and filter have been changed.

When the first buyer contacts you about your car, meet up with him or her in safe and public places. You don\’t have to show where you live, and the buyer would feel safer when in doing a sale in public. Be prepared to host more than one person. Your buyer might bring in family or friends, or even a mechanic or expert, to take a look at your car. Make sure to give them time to talk among themselves to discuss the pros and cons of buying your car. It will ease up the awkwardness and give them room of comfort.

There\’s also the paperwork to take car of when selling your car. Consult with the nearest state motor vehicle office and ask about the legal requirements needed to make a vehicle sale in your area. You\’ll have to take care of your car\’s title, registration, license plates and insurance policy. Inquire about the steps to be undergone, and the expenses and payments. You will need to notify your insurance agent about the sale and have your insurance canceled when you\’ve made the deal.

Remember that selling a car may be tiresome, and that there will be some haggling and frustrations at times. Have some patience and try not to pressure your buyer too much. Negotiations to make the sale successful can be a little frustrating but just put in some patience and consider your buyer\’s position in wanting to make a reasonable purchase.

When doing the financial transaction for the sale, insist on a cash payment, or a certified or cashier\’s check. A wire transfer of funds into your account is also all right. Just make sure that the money already arrived in your account before signing over the title to your buyer. Never accept a personal check, though. It is not advisable, especially with such an amount. Once you\’ve settled these things with your buyer, you can hand over the signed title and the key to the car, and move on with your own purchase of a new car.
