Cheap Cars – Cheap Pre Owned Used Cars for Sale – Buy Used Cars in Online Car Auctions

Are you looking to find cheap used car? Try Online Auctions. The scenario at the car auction site is far different than online car auction, and this is what puts a lot of people off from buying a car this way, but if you are armed with a checklist and knowledge of what to do, you can certainly swing things in your favour.

Buy Cheap Cars, Second Hand Used Cars Here

You can even buy old Classic cars too, as old cars may have had quite a history to them. It is not just the official documentation you need to look out for although this is the most important classic car documentation you need. If the car was let’s say in a film as the classic mini was in the Italian job then there is a good chance that you may just want to buy it for the fact that it was one of the classic cars in the film but what proof do you have? Ask for any proof that the car was once in a film or owned by a famous person.

You can go to a car auction or searched for online auctions and found a car that you like and you never took the opportunity of buying it because of the risk of buying a car full of problems. Worse still maybe you have never been to a car auction because of the scare stories you hear about people getting ripped off and being left with a scrapper. The truth is that a car auction is a potential gold mine as opposed to a mine field if you are equipped with the right experience and knowledge. As with any auction and when buying any product at the right price there is an element of risk because the cars being sold are second hand and you will get people that might bend the truth a little but these risk elements can be greatly reduced to make your experience positive and profitable.

The first thing that you need to bear in mind is to check the car you’d like to place your bid on, and I mean check it. Any chance you get to previews the vehicles, then take it and make good use of it so you know what is a bargain and what is over priced. Donot worry much, as if you buy car online and most of the time if you don’t like you can cancel your purchase with in certain period of time.

Car Rental in Italy

My family decided to visit Europe when we found out my sister was chosen to go on a trip to France for the World Cup in 2008 with DriveAway Holidays, sponsored by Peugeot. We thought we would join her in Italy – I can’t let my sister have all the fun now can I?

I have to admit the flight felt like it was never going to end and was very tiring, but when we finally arrived in Rome we were all excited again. We collected our car from Rome Fiumicino Airport and the Europcar depot was easily found with numerous signs pointing us in the right direction.

After the papers were signed and completed, we found our vehicle and to our surprise we were upgraded to a sporty Alfa Romeo Station Wagon so we were ready to drive in luxury like Italians in our Italian car. Our confidence was knocked a little though when we struggled trying to find our way out of the parking lot! Who would have thought it would be so complicated?

Luckily we hired the Seymour GPS which definitely saved a lot of time and fights! The GPS made our driving and traveling a lot smoother and more straight forward, which is exactly what you need on a holiday. Rome was truly spectacular with lots of historical attractions and museums to visit. My sister got engaged in the St Pietro Cathedral while we were there which made the trip even more special. It was very romantic and sure did bring tears to my eyes!

My favourite attraction in Rome was the Trevi fountain. The tradition is to toss a coin in the fountain to make a wish, and then toss a second coin to one day return to Italy. Hope it works!

From Rome we drove to Naples and with the help of our GPS, driving wasn’t as hard as we first thought. Soon we were used to the crazy speeds on the motorways and driving on the wrong side of the road, it all didn’t seem so strange anymore. In Naples we booked the Amalfi Coast tour and the views were truly beautiful. In Positano, we sampled the strong taste of the famous Italian liquor Limoncelo and some mouth watering local chocolates.

From Naples we drove on to Milan for an overnight stay and then continued to Florence. Florence was remarkable and we were all amazed at the famous artworks. I studied these works in high school so it was pretty amazing to stand right in front of them. I absolutely loved Michelangelo’s David statue, if I had the chance I would have stared at it all day!

Our car rental experience ended in Venice at the Pizzale Roma near the ferry terminal. After all our shopping, our luggage seemed a lot heavier than we expected but we managed to drag them along.

Venice was my favourite place in Italy. Ancient buildings built on top of water, it was so unique and wonderful. We had the chance to take a ride on the gondolas through the canals and under the bridges and we chose the perfect timing as it was sunset. Our hotel was right beside Louis Vuitton and Prada so we did lots of window shopping!

After Venice we booked a flight to Paris. The Eiffel Tower was our favourite attraction and when we reached the top, there were amazing views of the city. Although it was very crowded with tourists due to the World Cup, it was definitely worthwhile, we were so overwhelmed with the views that the crowds didn’t really bother us. At night the Eiffel Tower lit up with lazer light shows and in the colours of the World Cup winner, South Africa, which was pretty amazing.

The car rental in Italy gave us the freedom to explore many towns and hidden gems between our destinations. It was sheer pleasure driving a luxury car in Italy with the help of our handy little friend the Seymour GPS. I highly recommend a car hire and GPS system to anyone traveling overseas. This was a family holiday that was exhausting with the numerous attractions we saw in a limited time, but it was a beautiful experience, one I hope I am able to experience again.

Why the History of Bmw Motorcycles Means Adventure

Why The History Of BMW Motorcycles Means Adventure For You

If you love the BMW brand like I do, your enjoyment of the company isn’t complete without a brief history of their motorcycles. Over the years I have found that only a handful of people are even aware that BMW made motorcycles. Being so totally captivated by the current BMW car models, motorcycles by BMW have sort of become the “redheaded stepchild” of the business.

But, I plan to change that image right now.

Between 1920 and 1922 the Bavarian Motor Work made their first two-stroke three port motorcycle engine. At only 148 cc, this engine was affectionately called the Flink. With the engine mounted just in front of the foot pedals, this first model looked more like just a bicycle.

BMW had to start somewhere with its design and this was as good a place as any.

In the beginning, the Chief Design Engineer for BMW was Max Friz. Known for being demanding and not being satisfied with things as they are, Max introduced the new model BMW R32 at the Paris Motor Show in 1932. This model became famous for their blue and white paint.

Such developments as the pressed steel frame, telescopic fork, tubular frame and telescopic rear suspension all were important advances from 1935 to 1939. Can you imagine how different the ride must have felt back in the “old days” without modern tires and suspensions? Ouch.

1955 was really the next milestone for the BMW Motorcycle. Production models for the RS racing bike with the all pivot frame was introduced.

Do you know what the “slash five” was in BMW history?

Probably one of the most important upgrades to BMW motorcycles took place in 1970 with the development of the “slash five” series. The R50/5, R60/5 and R75/5 all have the same stroke engines only with different displacements. In addition, all these models had point ignitions. In 1979 these models were laid to rest and discontinued.

A new age begins for the BMW Motorcycle in 1980.

If you listen closely to the sounds of history, you might hear cheering fans as they applauded the latest improvements such as, updated suspensions, strengthened frames and electronic ignition replaced the points. High performance Brembo brakes and elimination of the heavy flywheel in favor of a stamped steel clutch carrier, were major advances at this time

.

Why were these changes made to BMW motorcycles?

It all comes down to money. If BMW wanted to continue in the motorcycle business it was mandatory that they make changes in order to be more competitive with the Japanese and European bikes. In fact, the 1981 model was so much better than previous versions that the market for used BMW motorcycle was totally destroyed.

The fact is, everything BMW is about excitement and adventure.

You can prove this for yourself just by this little study of BMW history. The GS series motorcycle was introduced in 1981 and instantly labeled the “Adventure Touring Bike” . The whole concept of the “Adventure Tour Market” started with the BMW R80G/S. And what an adventure it has been ever since.

From 1985 to the present, much advancement has been made. Unfortunately, that story will have to wait and be the subject of one of my future articles.

So for now my friend, are you up for the adventure of a BMW motorcycle?

An Awful Weekend For Ferrari

Ferrari merchandise producers will not be happy after what was an abysmal weekend’s racing. The much vaulted car and driver combination that had proved so competitive during the winter testing period faced serious troubles throughout the weekend. Merchandise producers and sponsors will hope this is a singular occurrence and will not set a trend for the rest of the 2008 season. Ferrari will have to up their game to compete with rival Formula 1 team, McLaren.

The Melbourne race weekend saw a sublime performance from Lewis Hamilton in both qualifying and the grand prix. Ferrari however will be worried by mechanical difficulties and poor driver performances from both the reigning champion Raikkonen and Massa. Merchandise producers and sponsors will be unhappy with what was a mediocre performance at best. Before the weekend had begun, Ferrari had found themselves strong favourites to dominate the entire weekend like they had done in the previous season. They do however leave Melbourne with a solitary driver’s championship point and one constructor’s point.

The nightmare for Ferrari began with engine difficulties for Kimi Raikkonen during qualifying meaning he started the race in a lowly fifteenth. Massa did little better, only managing fourth on the grid despite having no engineering problems until the race had begun. Merchandise companies and sponsors will be piling on the pressure to Ferrari management to ensure the problems are recognised and dealt with quickly and efficiently.

The difficulties first became apparent during Saturday’s qualifying session when Raikkonen’s Ferrari experienced a fuel pump problem that hampered his lap time. Strangely Massa faced stiff competition not just from both McLaren’s but also from the BMW of Robert Kubica. Massa’s fourth should have been enough as at times the pace of the Ferrari F1 ‘08 was clearly fast enough to cut through the pack. Unfortunately for Massa his fourth didn’t convert into a podium position because of yet more engine difficulties and a spin in the first corner resulting in a replacement nose cone.

Raikkonen was close to achieving some points as he quickly scythed his way through the pack, the new traction control legislation however gave the Finn some difficulties as he span off twice due to driver errors when attempting to overtake. This will worry merchandise companies and sponsors greatly as the former champion buckled under the pressure and could not find consistency in the Ferrari car; if he cannot race more smoothly this season could prove extremely difficult for the Finn who is vying to keep his driver’s championship.

As well as driver difficulties for Raikkonen, close to the end of the race he had to retire with yet more problems with the Ferrari F1 ‘08. The team would not have achieved a single point if it hadn’t been for the disqualification of Ruben’s Barrichello for illegal use of the pit lane under safety car provisions. This lucky break is clearly the only thing Ferrari management, sponsors and merchandise producers will be able to salvage from a disastrous weekend.

Both the Ferrari F1 cars will be sent back to the Maranello plant in order to diagnose the problems that caused so much stress this weekend. They will hope the diagnosis will be speedy as the team only have a few days until testing starts for the Malaysian Grand Prix. The general director of Ferrari was quick to dispel the fears of merchandise companies, sponsors and fans by stating that this was purely a blip in the season for the team. Winter testing had put the team miles ahead of the rest of the pack and the pace of both cars was evident, at least during periods of the race. Ferrari will have to find this pace consistently to achieve the podiums they so strongly desire.

With rivals McLaren already thirteen points ahead of the Italian team after one race weekend thanks to a race win and a fifth from Heikki Kovalainen, Ferrari are already lagging behind. In a race that only saw seven of the competitors finish, the carnage brought about by the new regulations was apparent, although rustiness on behalf of the teams and drivers may have something to do with many poor results. Ferrari will be hoping that they can expel the gremlins from both their cars in time for Malaysia and lay down a strong performance to counter the brilliant start their rivals McLaren experienced.

Motor sport expert Thomas Pretty follows the Formula 1 season avidly and has purchased much of the Ferrari merchandise range for the new season.

Car Dealer Scams and How to Avoid Them

When you are looking to buy a car with bad or poor credit it doesn’t leave buyers with lots of options. Occasionally their only choice for finding a lender for their new car purchase is through a car dealer loan.

Car dealership loan deals are not as bad as a lot of people may think. However, it is certainly true that they may hide a lot of surprises so if you are in fact planning to use a Car Credit Loan you should be extra vigilant.

The first thing that you need to watch out for is if the interest rate happens to be fixed. By fixed I mean that it’s clearly stated in your contract and that all of it is written in a way that it wouldn’t allow the car dealership to change it at a later date. What lots of car dealerships tend to do is approve your car loan application, have you sign the documents, and hand you over the car. After that later on they just give you a phone call and state that in fact you do not qualify for the loan because you have poor credit (which is something you already knew to begin with) and that you must pay higher interest rates in order to keep the car. If you fall into this situation you should try to either find a loan from another lender or report the scam and fight back.

Another extremely popular scam done by car dealers is to make you look for a cosigner for your loan convincing you that this is the absolutely only way that you can get financing since you have a terrible credit history. It won’t be difficult to convince you at all. First of all it sounds pretty reasonable and second of all the car dealer will cause you to believe that this will in fact repair your poor credit profile. Later on you will discover that your name isn’t including in the loan documents and that the loan is in the name of the cosigner only even though you are paying it . Not only is this illegal but it also may lead to serious penalties but it’s not helping your poor credit at all. If a dealerhship offers such a thing you absolutely must refuse.

If you’re a poor credit consumer and have difficulties in finding a good loan, it’s pretty obvious that you shouldn’t overstretch yourself. What this mean is to buy a reasonably priced vehicle and not to buy into all of the extras like the extended warranties for example. However, many different Bad Credit Auto Loan will end up trying to trick you by making you believe that you must buy a warranty that will increase your loan just to qualify. Since you are in a desperate situation you would end up saying Ok. However, if you for one second think about it, you can plain as day see this is simply a trick to increase your loan costs.

CarLoan123.net is car loan company which provides Car Finance and Used Car Loan with bad credit.People with bad credit and very poor credit are being accepted & allowed to drive away in the car of their dreams, because they applied online to get approved by competitive lenders at low interest rates.
