Why You Will Benefit by Joining Bmw Clubs

Why You Will Benefit By Joining BMW Clubs

When you buy a BMW you become a member of a very exclusive group of people who can now say that they have “made it”. You know what I mean. These are the people who are doing all the right things to distinguish themselves in as many ways as they can. Such as, income, lifestyle, education, career, community involvement, leadership, etc. The fact that you drive a BMW tells the world without whispering a word that you are “special”.

So why not take full advantage of your “special status” and enjoy the perks.

One of your greatest benefits of BMW ownership is the BMW Club. Both American and International BMW Clubs are available depending upon your own interests and location. No matter which one you choose, you are guaranteed to get your full share of BMW stories, excitement and passion.

You benefit from joining a BMW Club because:

1. BMW offers some club members substantial rebates ranging from $500 to $1500 depending on the model. This is a smart way for BMW to reward customers for they loyalty. Take advantage of it. You’ve earned it.

2. Another great benefit for you is that you get discounts on parts and service at participating BMW dealers when you are a club member.

3. Not all BMW owners are aware that some clubs offer driving schools, rallies, autocrosses and safety schools. All events are geared to satisfy that urge to experience to the max the BMW experience.

4. Larger BMW Clubs sponsor national annual gatherings and regional festivals. These are great for you and your family to enjoy.

5. You might also qualify for a BMW affinity credit card.

6. As a BMW Club member you also get access to their affiliate program for discounts on goods and services such as Anheuser-Busch theme parks and Brooks Brothers clothing.

Here is a little known fact that I’m sure you haven’t heard before.

There are some BMW Club members that get even more unique. Some groups within the club organize themselves around specific rare or vintage BMWs. This “niche” provides its group with information and activities that are centered around driving events and web based news about their specific passion. So no matter which BMW is “your passion”, you will find others here that share your same feelings and desires for the BMW experience.

And you thought that buying a BMW was only about owning a luxury car.

The benefits of BMW ownership range from the excitement of your driving experience to the camaraderie you’ll only find with BMW Club members from all walks of life. And the quickest way for you to get started is to Google “BMW Clubs”. There is where you will get all the information you need.

Not only are you special as a BMW owner, but now you also know, “Why You Will Benefit By Joining BMW Clubs”. Enjoy yourself as a BMW owner. You deserve to have a good time.

Facts about The Lamborghini

Lamborghini creates some of the world’s most scintillating sports cars. The company is situated in a small village called Sant’Agata Bolognese in Italy. It was founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini in the year 1963. Ferruccio Lamborghini passed away in 1993 at the age of 77. He is still remembered and he continues to live on with his contribution in the car industry.

Initially the Lamborghini S.p.A. started out as an autonomous company. In 1978, Lamborghini filed for bankruptcy and an Italian court was handed over the responsibility to find a suitable buyer. A Swiss based company called Mimran Brothers bought it. Although things were going on smoothly, the Mimran Brothers decided to sell the company to the American car manufacturer Chrysler. Under the new ownership of Chrysler, the famous Lamborghini Diablo came into being. But Lady Luck seem to distance herself from Chrysler and in 1994, Chrysler was forced to sell the brand Lamborghini to an Indonesian investment group headed by Tommy Suharto. Luck failed again there too and as a result of economic crisis in the 1990s, Lamborghini was taken over by the German car manufacturer Audi AG in 1998. Audi was successful in bringing back the Lamborghini fame by producing more exotic models.

The first Lamborghini called the Lamborghini 350 GTV was unveiled at the Turin Auto Show in 1963. The car was launched commercially and it tuned out to be a tremendous hit. More than 130 units were built in that year and it was a complete sell out. The 350 GTV has a top speed of 280 km/h. The next year a smaller version of the same model was launched called 350GT which delivered a top speed of 240 km/h. In 1974, another model called Countach was unleashed and this car could run 300 km/h. The Diablo is in fact the successor of the Countach.

The Le Mans version Murcielago R-GT is considered to be one of the fastest Lamborghini model which is said to have attained the top speed of 370 km/h, whereas the road version of the same model called Murcielago LP640 can deliver a high speed of 340 km/h. Both the versions are powered by an above 6.0-litre V12 engine.

The latest models of Lamborghini are seen with those cool scissor doors which can be turned upward and forward on a hinge itself. Every Lamborghini model comes with a powerful V8 or above engines. The production of V8 engine was stopped long back in 1989 and the legendary V12 engine was introduced into the cars. But the latest model Gallardo is seen with a V10 engine.

Lamborghini is not just associated with super sports cars but also with marine engines. Today Lamborghini stands tall in a very high position among with other biggies in the automobile industry. Lamborghini cars have outstanding performance and also carry fat price tags. Lamborghini car  personifies sophistication, class and pride.

2008 Lamborghini Gallardo

Some times Lamborghini makes me wish the world was made for cars. This feeling reminds me of the words of P.J. O’Rourke “Automobiles are free of egotism, passion, prejudice and stupid ideas about where to have dinner. They are, literally, selfless. A world designed for automobiles instead of people would have wider streets, larger dining rooms, fewer stairs to climb and no smelly, dangerous subway stations.”

For years Lamborghini has shocked and awed us with its unique design and we have been nothing less then amazed by each supercar that they have turned out over the last 30 years. Their cars are more then exotic – but they are full of power that many of us can only dream about. The Countach, Diablo, and Murcielago are just a few that we can name. That is why we are excited and happy to welcome the 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo.

The 2008 Gallardo is more traditional then the past models that they have released. It is built with the traditional doors and cockpit. It is available in three different types; the Spyder convertible, standard coupe, and the lightweight performance edition Superleggera.

The Superleggera has a more aggressive suspension tuning and weight reduction that is close to 150 pounds. This makes it much less livable then the other two designs. But on the positive side this model increases the performance and handling for the Gallardo. The Sypder has an added 250 pounds of weight made up of structural reinforcement.

The Sant’Agata factory has already started production on the successor for the coupe to improve upon the Gallardo LP560-4. They Spyder will not be changed and the Superleggera will be sold for this one year only. When it comes to the coupe we think it might be best to wait till 2009 and focus on getting your hands on the Leggera model.

Why Buy a New Car?

Why do people buy new?

The prestige of owning a new vehicle is, for the majority of people, second to none! Knowing that you have the very latest model, with all the newest innovations in car designs, is important for many-having second best simply will not do!
Apart from the prestige there are some fundamental reasons why people opt for a new rather than used car.

Buying new means you have the opportunity to choose the colour and specification you want. If you want a particular colour or paint finish these may be available at additional costs. You may have to wait slightly longer for delivery but you will get exactly what you want. ‘New’ means you do not have to make do with what’s available.

One of the biggest advantages of buying new is the peace of mind that the car has not been driven poorly or abused by anyone else. As every driver has a different way of driving there is no guarantee with a used car that it hasn’t been subjected to driving techniques which have had a detrimental effect on the vehicle.

Although the mileage will let you know how far a car has been driven, it will not tell you how it has been driven. When you buy new these factors need not be considered. You will have the satisfaction and peace of mind that the car has not been mistreated in any way. You will also know that the car has not been involved in an accident or have been continually repaired.

’New’ means that the interior will be in immaculate condition. There will be no wear and tear on the upholstery or internal features. The car won’t smell of stale tobacco or any other unpleasant smells left by the previous owner-it will smell of fresh. clean newness which is very important for some people.

Car manufacturers give a warranty on all of their new vehicles. These are usually for three years, although this does vary. Some manufactures also give extended warranties on body work or specific parts of the car. Buying new means that you will have a vehicle which is guaranteed to perform to its specifications.

When deciding which car to buy the best option is to use a franchised dealership. They will have the best pick of the cars and offer the most comprehensive warranties. Many will also be able to deliver throughout the UK if the car you want is not currently kept or stocked at your local dealership. With some franchised dealerships it may even be possible to import a new car from Ireland, which could save you thousands of pounds.

The dealership should be members of a trade association. They are bound by its codes of conduct. Giving you the satisfaction of buying with complete confidence and assurance of the highest standards.

There are many reasons people choose to buy new rather used cars. Some are purely personal preferences, however for the majority of people buying new cars provides them with the peace of mind and satisfaction that they have the best car complete with the guarantees and warranties to give them many years of trouble free motoring.

Cruising Las Vegas in a Classic Lamborghini

One of the must-drive classic GTs, by far, is the Lamborghini 400 GT. It is one the first few car models ever released by the renowned Italian truck manufacturer, Lamborghini. First introduced at the 1966 Geneva Auto Show, it was one of the first series of coupes produced by the company to rival the Ferraris and Maseratis. Only a few of this model was ever produced, which makes it one of the most sought-after exotic cars all over the world. With its sleek and elegant vintage look, excellent driving and road handling, and ultra-high performance, the Lamborghini 400 GT would sure be an exhilarating ride from Las Vegas to anywhere in the United States.

Compared to its predecessor, the 350 GT, 400 GT was built with a longer wheelbase, durable steel coachwork, with a modified look evident in its longer hood to accommodate the engine, a scaled back rear window, four circular headlights, and a slightly higher roof to provide more interior room.

Equipped with a 3929 cc 4.0 L engine it kicks off 320 bph at 6500 rpm with 276 lb-ft of torque at 4500rpm, making it one of the most desirable sports car of its time. The coupe had enough power to generate to almost 160 mph. Only twenty-three units of this coupe were produced from 1966 until 1967. Twenty units were steel bodied while three were bodied in Superleggera.

Another version of the 400 GT was also released. This two-door coupe was modified to not only accommodate two, but four passengers. It was dubbed as the 400 GT 2+2. However, there were very minor difference between the 400 GT and the 400 GT 2+2 engine-wise as well as in the overall structure. Two hundred twenty four units were produced during 1966 to 1968, including five right-hand drive units.

The production of these GTs were limited due to the fact that it was hand-built in the factory at Sant’Agata, Italy . Now, having one would surely be impressive. But if you are having difficulties finding one to purchase, then why don’t you rent one? There are practically car rentals anywhere in the world. Surely there’s bound to be several Lamborghini GTs available for you to drive. Now, just imagine cruising around Las Vegas or perhaps Paris in a classic Lamborghini GT. It would definitely make your visit to these popular places a remarkable one.

Moreover, with the growing car rental industry, it is now possible for almost anyone to drive their dream cars, albeit how short-lived, as well as make certain occasions in their lives extra special. Also, this industry makes it more convenient for people to travel from one place to another, in their own pace while on a vacation or on a business trip in a foreign land.

THE BEST WAY TO BUY A USED CAR

Well, the first thing you will need to decide is when you need to buy a car. Most second hand car purchases are decided by circumstances, IE something has happened to bring on the change of vehicle, eg car accident, growing family, extra members of the family, current car failed its MOT or broken down etc etc…

In this article we will only be talking about used cars from garages because deals on new cars change so quickly depending on the marketing programmes available at the time.

You will need to be clear on how you intend to fund the purchase, there are several options to choose from; you can pay out of your savings, credit card (although this will normally incur at least 1.5% additional charge as this is what the dealer has to pay), bank/building society loan, finance from the garage you are buying from (which there are some really great deals available depending on your circumstances) , and internet loans.  The options will all need to be explored to work out what is going to be right for you when you need to buy .

What sort of car you will need to suit your needs. The choice of cars available in today’s marketplace is vast, every manufacturer has a list of shapes and sizes to suit most needs. From the new super mini with £35 a year for its annual road tax to the people carriers that seem so cavernous and can fit many people inside. Work out your requirements and the type of driving and uses you intend to get from the car. Many of the people carrier style that offer 7 seats will also have the ability for the rear 2 seats to fold away completely, a great example and pioneer of this is the Vauxhall Zafira. At our garage, we sell many of these because of their flexibility.

Fuel. it really comes down to petrol or diesel. Traditionally diesel was seem as a smelly dirty alternative to petrol, these days this is not really the case. many of the diesel cars are now in some of the lowest CO2 emission categories. The general rule of thumb is that if you are doing under 15,000 miles per a year then a petrol car is probably the right choice for you, over that then go for a diesel.

Always make sure that you ask he garage where you are viewing cars to see the HPI Check certificate to make sure that there are no hidden things lurking in the past, these can include being written off, stolen, on finance, or anything else you would want to know before parting with your hard earned money. Ask to see the service history and the registration document to check these are all in order.

If you are intending to part exchange your current car, do yourself a favour and get more money for it by getting all the documents and history together and then give the car a really good clean. If the dealer can see a well maintained, bright and shiny car in front of them they are bound to give you more money for it than a dull car with a few bills as the history.

The negotiation on the price is really down to how confident you are, and whether you really want to buy the car. many people can get a really good deal on a car, but please make sure that it is the right car for you. there is no point in wasting everybody’s time if you get a great deal on a car you don’t even want!! we often find that the best way to make a deal is to get “price to change” that way the garage values your part exchange, then adjusts the price you have to pay out. If it is too high then you can ask about what the best price is then, don’t let the dealer confuse the issue by quoting trade terms that don’t mean anything to the the customer such as “over allowance”, “SIV”,”trade car”, “margin” etc.
